Wooden Ship models and boat models/nautical models from the French National Naval Museum. Some of these shots are lower quality than I would have liked due to interfering glass and/or poor lighting. Back in the 18th century, when a contractor proposed to build a new ship for the government, they often presented extremely detailed scale models of what the ship was going to look like. These models are on display - some of them are huge and I tried to get right down onto the decks to get interesting angles. I thought these might still be useful for references. --- I have comments enabled on these images but can not respond to all comments; I hope you understand - I get too many messages to handle already.
