Get your steampunk on. Early deep diving suit.

Wooden Ship models and boat models/nautical models from the French National Naval Museum. Some of these shots are lower quality than I would have liked due to interfering glass and/or poor lighting. Back in the 18th century, when a contractor proposed to build a new ship for the government, they often presented extremely detailed scale models of what the ship was going to look like. These models are on display - some of them are huge and I tried to get right down onto the decks to get interesting angles.

I thought these might still be useful for references.

It has an ugly and crude mechanical look to it, but yet it has beauty in it's well articulated form. I also love the look of old mechanical stuff like this! :D

[If this suit had a chrome shine, then it would look like something out of a classic Sci-fi. If it was painted in glossy white, then it would look like one of those robots the Japaneses are inventing.]

You achieved a great organic feel with technology.

Looks like a mecha suit for Master's Blaster, the head really makes the connection for me.
