What, don't you have a stone table in your yard? What's wrong with you!? This idea turned out to be harder to pull off than I expected. Between the smoke from the torches (gym socks stuffed into holders and doused with diesel) and having to haul all my lights out into a dark night, and the fact that apparently stone is not very comfortable to lie on, etc, etc. I rushed the shot.

It was a full moon light. The strobes overrode it pretty easily, tho.

To do this right I should have had 3 huge lightbanks overhead on a crane. But, yeah, that would have cost an assload of money...

you really have a stone table in your back yard? im also thinking it could work naturally lit by a bonfire, a huge ass bonfire!

Yup! I really do. 12 feet by 6 feet. The top stone weighs 12 tons. It took a big-ass backhoe to get it on there.
