The outfit is a hussar's (light cavalry) uniform from Austria, just from the 1900's. It's fairly rare to find a complete uniform including the breeches so I snapped this up when it appeared on Ebay in 1998. Sarah and I were rooting through the prop room and I thought "maybe this'll fit..." and it turned out it fit like it was made for her! I didn't have proper hessian boots or a sabre/sabre belt, but - whatever. Please fix the moth-holes in the breeches if you use this.
